Aluminum is a lightweight and affordable metal that will not tarnish or change color over time. Lighter sleeves are made to fit extremely tight on Bic brand lighters to ensure that they will not slip off. This means putting the lighter sleeves on and removing them will require some force. If you prefer to leave the lighter sleeve in place, there is an opening at the base to allow for butane refills.
